We are located in the Texas Hill Country just a short drive from historic downtown Fredericksburg. A visit to Fredericksburg extends German/Texan hospitality to all. You may plan your trip for shopping and dining but little jewels are hidden for exploration. One of these gems would be the Nimitz Japanese Garden of Peace. Being centrally located we are blessed to have day trip activities all around. An hour drive south will take you  to San Antonio. Enjoy a day visiting The Alamo, The River Walk, Fiesta Texas, Sea World and much more. You might prefer a visit to LBJ State Park or a trip to Enchanted Rock for hiking and picture taking amongst the incredible views.

Admiral Nimitz Museum is on Main Street in downtown Fredericksburg Texas. It features exhibits on World War II Pacific battles and restored rooms of the historic Nimitz Hotel

LBJ State & National Park is 16 miles east of Fredericksburg. Guided bus tours of the LBJ Ranch lands include LBJ’s birthplace and the Johnson Family cemetery.

Enchanted Rock is the second largest granite structure in North America. The nearby park includes miles of scenic hiking trails and many lovely picnic areas.

Local Fredericksburg Vineyards are a wonderful excursion, offering wine tasting, cellar tours and a chance to buy fine Hill Country wines.
